Alexandra Sapan

I began my musical journey singing in grade school concert and jazz choirs and playing the violin in the school orchestra in New York and performing in the musicals Godspell and Guys and Dolls.   I received my college degrees from Wheaton Conservatory of Music in the Chicago area and my Masters of Music from Manhattan School of Music in New York City, both in Vocal Performance. Since then, I've had opportunities to sing around the world including Spain, Germany, France, Italy, China, Macao, Greece and across the United States and New York City's Carnegie Hall with pianist Maestra Enza Ferrari. I recently collaborated with my husband, pianist and composer Dr. Jonathan Tauscheck, recording Three Greek Songs in October of 2022 as a sponsored project from The MacPhail Center for Music and The McKnight Foundation Teaching Artist Grant in Minnesota.  We also performed the songs on a concert in Greece in 2023 and are planning future concerts in Athens and the Peleponnesian Area.  I love performing, yet the greatest joy in my music career is my passion for teaching singers of all ages, and helping them discover their own excitement for singing and performing.
